KEVIN WILLIAMS

Krav Maga instructor Kevin Williams has been involved with the martial arts for over 15 years and has obtained the rank of black belt in Tae Kwon Do as well as advanced level rankings in Jeet Kune Do. Kevin began studying Krav Maga (KM) in 1998 under two of KM's earliest black belts in the U.S., Mitch Markowitz and Mike Leifer in Southern California.

Kevin is fully certified instructor under Krav Maga Federation . He is currently training under the highest ranking Israeli trained instructor in the U.S., 5th Degree KM Black Belt Rhon Mizrachi in Manhattan. All Krav Maga instructors affiliated with Rhon have received training in Anatomy, Physiology, Physical Fitness, Methodology, Psychology, Practical training, Individual skills, and Training theory as well as Standard First Aid/CPR. Currently Kevin is teaching Krav Maga at Dowling College as an adjunct lecturer while teaching regular nightly classes as well as privately.

Master Instructor Rhon Mizrachi is head of the Krav Maga Federation. Rhon Mizrachi is a former Israeli Paratrooper Sergeant who, like many Israelis, participated in extensive combat during his service (Lebanon 1982). Mr. Mizrachi has trained in and or taught Krav Maga for over 35 years, beginning his training at the age of 7 under Grandmaster Haim Zut and Krav Maga founder Imi Lichtenfeld.

Rhon is the head instructor and co-owner of Krav Maga NYC where he teaches civilians, members of the Military as well as Law Enforcement. He is recognized as a Master Instructor by Krav Maga International-Kapap, Israeli Krav-Maga Association and the State of Israel Ministry of Education Culture and Sport (Wingate Institute).

Rhon travels regularly to Kevin's Long Island Krav Maga school to teach seminars based primarily on the weapon defenses in Krav Maga material (knives, sticks and guns) as well as multiple attacker scenarios.
